In their spare time or for employment, people from all walks of life engage in living history projects. Many of these take place in living history museums throughout the UK. Observers are given the opportunity to step back in time. Participants beome immersed in a certain era and they strive for authenticity in costume, pastimes and handicrafts. The participants themselves are generally very happy to pose for photographs.
I've used natural light for these portraits and processed them using Photoshop, Lightroom and some plugins (Perfect Effects 8, Portrait Professional) to enhance the originals.
